The drive from Bad Dürkheim to Villa Renting follows the Palatinate wine route south — past Grünstadt and the first vineyards of the Eisenberg area. For guests making a weekend of it, that route is part of the experience rather than just a commute.

The route

Take the B271 south from Bad Dürkheim through Grünstadt, then continue south on local roads to Eisenberg. The drive is approximately 25 km and takes 20 to 25 minutes. There is no motorway section — the entire route follows the wine route corridor through Palatinate villages. Parking at the villa is free and large enough for all guests.

Villa Renting was built in 1880 and sits in 14,000 m² of park at the edge of Eisenberg. The park has a stone fountain in the central courtyard and a walled garden at the rear for ceremonies. A covered outdoor area with a permanent roof and three chandeliers handles weather without a marquee.

Up to 100 guests for dinner. Four on-site apartments for overnight stays — the couple stays for free, and three more apartments are available for closest guests. The party runs until 3 a.m. as standard, on request until 4 a.m. — from 10 p.m. the music moves indoors.

Ceremony

The walled Heidelberg Corner garden at the back of the villa is set for symbolic ceremonies. For civil ceremonies, the Eisenberg registry office is close and handles Saturday appointments. Rain backup: the covered outdoor area has a permanent roof and open sides. Three chandeliers overhead. The ceremony moves there if needed — no marquee, no delay.
