The Season · Winter
Candlelight and dates still open.
December to February. The park is bare. The chandeliers are brighter than ever. The inside of the villa holds 100 people in warm, close, candlelit space. Off-peak means more Saturday availability, more flexibility on timing, and a venue fee that reflects the season.
The atmosphere
150 candles and three chandeliers.
When warm light from above — the period chandeliers — meets warm light from the tables — candles, tea lights, lanterns — no photographer needs a flash. A winter reception at the villa looks better in photographs than the couple usually expects, because the light is all inside and all warm.
The covered outdoor area works in winter too, with patio heaters and blankets on the chairs. A fire bowl in the park is an option for a late-evening outdoor moment. But the main room is the real location in winter.
The advantages
Off-peak is real.
December has some demand around the Christmas season. January and February have the most flexibility. Saturdays in January and February can be available with 3 to 6 months of lead time — unusual for the other seasons. From December to February we run Villa Winter: €99 per person, all-in — no venue fee, drinks and service included. November and March sit in the low season just before and after it, with a venue fee from €1,500. The caterer is more flexible on menu and quantities. The accommodation dates are available.
The ceremony
Indoor ceremony options.
A symbolic ceremony inside the main hall. Chandeliers, wooden floor, the original period windows. The celebrant stands at the front of the room, the couple walks in together or separately, guests are seated in rows. The room holds the full 85 guests for a ceremony without any tent or marquee.
Practical
December close to Christmas is still popular.
Saturdays in December — especially the first two — fill up. For a Christmas-adjacent winter wedding, plan 6 to 9 months out. If you're considering January or February, contact us and ask directly what's available — the calendar often has more options than you'd think.
