The Villa · Park & Garden
14,000 m² of park.
A long driveway through the park. A stone fountain in the courtyard. A walled garden at the back of the villa with a hydrangea rondel and an old stone boundary wall. The kind of garden that doesn't need dressing because it already has a character of its own.
The layout
How the day moves through the garden.
Getting Ready inside the villa. Then the first guests arrive and collect a glass at the entrance. The ceremony is in the Heidelberg Corner at the back — 30 metres from the main door. Cocktail hour on the lawn or the garden terrace. Dinner moves inside, or under the covered outdoor area if the evening is warm. The park closes around you.
The space
Mature trees and a fountain.
The park has been there since the villa was built in 1880. A stone fountain in the central courtyard. Mature trees along the perimeter. An aerial photograph shows the full scale — but standing in it is different. It wraps around the event instead of just providing a backdrop.
Garden weddings
When the garden is the venue.
In June, July, and early September, weddings run almost entirely outdoors until 11 p.m. or midnight. Ceremony in the Heidelberg Corner. Cocktails by the fountain. Dinner under the covered outdoor area. The main hall stays open as the late-night inside option.

“The park made our wedding. The photos look like the location was art-directed. It wasn't — it just is that way.”B. & F., June 2025
