The Season · Summer
Long evenings. The park in full sun.
June, July, and August are peak season. The sun sets after 9 p.m. in June. A ceremony in the garden at 4 p.m., cocktail hour on the lawn, dinner as the light fades, dancing until 4 a.m. — that's a summer day at the villa.
The outdoor day
Ceremony in the garden, dinner outside.
Summer is when the Heidelberg Corner works at its best. A hydrangea rondel in bloom, chairs on gravel, the ceremony in open air. Cocktail hour moves to the lawn and the fountain. Dinner under the covered outdoor area — open sides, three chandeliers, the park visible on all sides.
The heat
The park has natural shade.
Mature trees line the park perimeter and provide shade through the afternoon. The covered outdoor area is open on three sides — it breathes, it doesn't trap heat. We add more cold drinks, more ice, more water service in summer months. Nobody runs out.
Rain in summer
Summer storms happen fast.
A July afternoon can turn in 15 minutes. We watch the forecast for ten days before your wedding and brief the team the night before. Both scenarios — outdoor and covered — are set up in parallel. If a storm comes, the transition takes fifteen minutes. Your guests won't notice it as a disruption.
The booking
12 to 18 months out for a Saturday.
June and July Saturdays are typically gone 12 to 18 months before the date. August has slightly more flexibility. If you're considering summer 2027, contact us now. Friday is the underrated option — same villa, same park, same summer evening, less lead time needed.
